On Behalf of | Jul 6, 2018 | Construction Litigation |

No matter where you look, you are bound to find something being built, renovated or torn down. This is the world of construction, and it is always moving in Miami and the rest of Florida. The industry is so important that there is a position at every construction firm known as the construction manager. Not many people really understand the role of the construction manager, even if they have hired a construction company.

The manager of a construction project will be at the helm from start to finish. He or she will handle the budget for the project, the ordering of materials, finding the right workers for the job and even putting together some of the plans for the project.

The construction manager might also be responsible for finding and acquiring land, obtaining the required permits, scheduling inspections and ensuring that the project timeline is being adhered to properly.

If there are complaints, questions, problems or other requests made during the project, the construction manager will be responsible for handling these issues as they arise.

It’s also not out of the realm of possibility that the construction manager is asked to help with the contractual end of the project. This could include drafting the contract for the client to sign, editing the contract, checking the contract for issues and even ensuring all aspects of the contract are being handled.

As you can see, the construction manager at Miami construction sites is vital to the success of the project. If something goes wrong with a construction project, it could be the manager who has to answer for the mistake.
