Valerie Caso-Veras graduated from Florida International University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Track, where she earned summa cum laude honors.
Valerie received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2025. While at Miami Law, she was a member of the Yvette Ostolaza Mock Trial Team, earned the Director’s Book Award for Excellence in Litigation Skills, and was recognized as Best Advocate at the 2024 AAJ Zehmer Mock Trial Competition. Valerie also served as a fellow in the Innocence Clinic, assisting with post-conviction litigation, and as a Peter Palermo Fellow with the Center for Ethics and Public Service, where she worked to promote equitable housing and community development initiatives.
Valerie joined the Law Office of Alexander Alvarez in 2025 following her admission to the Florida Bar.
