Car crashes can happen unexpectedly and result in injuries almost instantaneously. For those involved, the sudden crash is life-changing. The victims may need to have surgery, have painful conditions that require physical therapy or other medical treatments and struggle to go back to the lives they lived before.
This crash is an example of how multiple people can be hurt when a driver makes a mistake. In the recent crash in Miami-Dade, five people were injured. The two-car crash happened on a rainy night, looking a photos of the incident. It appears to have taken place in an intersection.
The incident, which happened at around 7:40 p.m., has not yet had its cause determined. However, people in both vehicles suffered injuries. Twelve agency units had to respond to the crash on Biscayne Boulevard and NE 193 Street to help free the trapped victims.
Upon arrival, the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson reported, units began to assess the patients. One patient was extensively pinned in a vehicle. Crews had to use hydraulic tools to free them.
Two of the victims were severely injured, while the others required medical care. None of their medical conditions were released to the news following the incident.
Crashes like this one are scary, because so many people’s lives are impacted. Whenever the weather conditions are poor, crashes like this are possible. Rain makes the roads slick, and it can take longer to stop than usual. If you’re hit as a result of poor weather, the other driver should still be held responsible for the injuries that you’ve suffered.
